Finding the Perfect Gifts (on a Theme)
Shopping for gifts can be fun, when the gift gods inspire you with great ideas. But when they don’t…and time is running out…panic can easily set in. No one wants to be the one who’s gift was obviously chosen in haste or desperation on the way to the party, shower, or holiday event. I’ve been there. Sometimes you get lucky and pull it off. Sometimes not so much.
My aim with this blog is to alleviate some of that stress, so you can get on with celebrating. And since coming up with ideas for gifts is 90% of the battle, I’m starting there. Everyone has something they love, whether it’s something to do, to be, to have, to eat. Thus, gifts on a theme. A gift, or a basket of gifts, based on something your recipient is passionate about will convey to him or her that you have thought it through and really care.
Jump on in. Some of these themes may surprise you or entertain you. Some may inspire you. Just remember why you stopped by in the first place. I’d hate to hear you went the socks and underwear route, or see you perusing the convenience store’s fine selection of gifts. Again.
